Banning IP's

Banning IP's can sometimes ban the wrong person.

However as an example.

If you ban IP# 123.123.123.123 It will ban only that IP.

Now if you want to do a deeper ban then you will do this.

123.123.123.* or
123.123.* or
123.*

What ever you put to the .* will ban that IP to that point.

Just becarefull the deeper you go with it the more chance you have of inadvertanly banning the wrong person.

Banning by e-mail

When you ban by e-mail no one will be able to access the board with that e-mail address.

Banning by user name

When you ban by a user name be cautious. as that user will be able to access the Forum again under a different name.

Now if you ban by all three, then you have a good chance that that person won't be able to access your forum.

Note: Do not remove the user account as this feature will no longer work.
