xx Paranormal/Depression era RPG
« Thread started on: Jul 19th, 2012, 11:43am »

A little over 6 years ago I created the RPG "Clauden," which, as some of you may remember, was an old western/paranormal RPG. Same concept, only two generations later and taking place in the nearby town of Hallowville.

http://hallowville.conforums.com

Our current members are all Claudenites from back in the day, but we'd love to see some new faces. Also, relatively slow-paced; most of us are busy college students now.

Also, you may notice we do not have a logo. Any contributions in that area are welcome.

i like the idea and the layout. My experience on message boards in the past (Back in 2006 a friend and I ran a conforums message board RPG based on the Code Lyoko tv show with 300 active members and 1200 total over 2 years)

But in my experience when you first start a new story or arc in a story and locations change and such, combining some of the locations into a smaller amount of boards can help be less daunting to new members or those less familiar with the story.

Also if there are a lot of boards with no posts, it can sometimes make your forum look dead to new members and possible members which can hurt activity.

EDIT: Also if you can PM me some direction and any possible images you want in a logo id be happy to whip you one up, I have photoshop open all the time =P

Thank you, I appreciate the input. I agree that there are a lot of empty boards; I recently realized how noticeable it is. When we first created the forum, we weren't really thinking so much about recruiting new members as we were accomodating the ones we already had. But now that we have invested some time in it, I will see what I can do about it.
