xx Iphone 4S
« Thread started on: Oct 13th, 2011, 05:55am »

I was just wondering what everything thinks of the new iphone 4s, i was quite surprised to see that there was any major changes done to the phone over the iphone 4 but then again it fits in with when they released the iphone 3gs.

http://www.apple.com/iphone/

The voice activation feature is interesting i just wonder how well it might work.

I am currently using a HTC Wildfire but the battery life on it is really bad it can barely last 3 days of light use and it appears to be something that is common on Android powered phones, i am wondering if anyone has an iphone here what the battery life is like on them?

I have an iphone 4, but I'm not interested with the iphone 4s, I am more interested on the New iPad. I want to know the new features of this. Is it worth it for an upgrade for my old iPad.

The new iPad is very slightly thicker and heavier than the iPad 2. There is some changes in Retinal screen, Wireless charging, Bluetooth 4.0, Further enhance the camera etc

I think we are discussing about iphone and not ipad. well, in my opinion every smart phone requires a heavy battery because whenever you listen a music, watching a video then it took a large amount of battery. The 1500mAh battery is more sufficient for smartphone I think.

yay thread back on track. My only issue with apple phones has been this situation. allow me to set it up for you.

At the Apple keynote, apple fans have spent the last few hours listening about the upgrades to the computers, waiting till the end for the one more thing.. sign to come up that should be the next numeral of the iPhone

Apple speaker (since it hadnt been jobs for several years before he died): Oh and one more thing..

the slide changes

Apple speaker: this fall the iPhone (insert same version number here) (insert random letter here).

Crowd: Yayyyyyyy! i think we are supposed tolike this anyways

Then the phone is released, it has a ton of issues, and apple says, well the hardware really wasnt ready to support this version of the iOS, it will all be better with the iPhone (insert next new number).

That is true.. There isn't much difference between the 4 and 4S, i believe the 3G and 3GS had more things different between each other than the 4 and 4s. undecided

Well the 4s featured a dual core processor instead of a single core. It also introduced Siri. It got the latest version of bluetooth and the camera was improved from 5MP to 8MP as well as from 720p video to 1080p video as well as a better lens.

They weren't huuuuuuge differences, but enough to add an "S" to the end I suppose.

Dual Core processor and all sorts of hardware upgrades yet despite charging you an arm and a leg for these upgrades they didnt bother adding a battery to support it.

I'm pretty sure it comes with a battery, but I think I'm misunderstanding you.

And an arm and a leg? Aren't they only a couple hundred bucks. For a fully functional smartphone that will last you a couple of years that's not a bad investment.

The battery life on the 4S was 67% lower than equivalently placed hardware on android smartphones.

The iPhone 4S also had 32% shorter battery life than its predecessor.

And the iPhone is priced, like all apple products, at ridiculously high prices compared to other products with the same or superior hardware..
